Mimer

Mimer is a giant in Norse mythology who guards Mimer’s Well, which is the source of wisdom located at the foot of the world tree Yggdrasil (sometimes called “Mimer’s Tree”). The tree has three roots, and Mimer’s Well lies beneath the root that leads to Jotunheim — the world of the frost giants.

Ymer

According to the Prose Edda, a collection of older myths recorded by the Icelandic poet Snorri Sturluson around 1220, the primordial giant Ymir emerged from the ravine of Ginnungagap. It wasn’t long before Ymir became the ancestor of a number of new giants, who magically emerged from his armpits and feet.

Mundil

The name of a giant, the father of the Sun and the Moon; akin to möndull, referring to the veering round or revolution of the heavens.

Verdandi

In Norse mythology, she was one of the Norns. She represents the “now” and determines what happens next.

Sleipner

In Norse mythology, Sleipner is Odin’s grey, strong, eight-legged horse that can gallop faster than anyone else, even faster than the wind.

Hildur

Hildur is a female name of Old Norse origin, it comes from the name Hild, who was one of Odin’s valkyries.
